A Lime is a citrus fruit, that's round and green in colour with an edible flesh that’s tart with mild sweet notes, grown in warmer climates they are in season all year round. Used to treat scurvy, the use of lime at one time was a closely guarded secret of the British Navy. Now, however lime is used in cooking, enjoyed fresh and as a dressing for both sweet and savoury dishes.

The tart and sharp notes make them a key flavour in eliquid particularly used to offset sweeter fruits or sharpen up rich dessert blends such as key lime pie. When mixed with menthol, lime creates a tart and fresh finish. It’s popularity has lead it to become available in both high VG and high PG versions. It does however have the tendency to burn out coils faster than some e liquids, if this occurs we recommend switching to a higher PG blend or try vaping at a lower wattage. When used at higher wattages lime leaves a fresh aftertaste and has a zest base note, lower wattages emphasise the interplay between sweet and tart for a balanced vape.
